Facilities Coordinator

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Facilities Coordinator is a part-time role at Park Church that provides oversight and implementation of the cleanliness, organization, and stewardship of the Park Church property. This involves cleaning the building regularly and keeping common spaces organized, tidy, and stocked. Pending skillset and availability, this role may involve more hours and pay to account for minor maintenance, small construction projects, and/or coordinating contractors and volunteers.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

PRIMARY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Clean all common spaces weekly
• Empty all trash and recycling receptacles twice/week
• Keep all bathrooms and kitchen stocked
• Clean perimeter of building weekly and as-needed
• Clean non-common and office spaces monthly and as-needed
• Clean and organize after midweek events
• Perform individual deep-cleaning projects, steadily working through the entire property

POTENTIAL ADDITIONAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Work with Office Coordinator and Director of Operations to coordinate with contractors and volunteer teams
• Complete general maintenance or small construction requests determined by manager
• Oversee setup and breakdown for Park Church Events (chairs, bathrooms, trash, pews, lock up)
• Organize storage spaces

REQUIREMENTS & COMPENSATION

• Affirms and supports Park Church’s theology, theological vision, values, and philosophy of ministry
• Multi-tasking, time management and prioritizing skills
• Cleaning and organizational skills
• Ability to work alone and autonomously
• 16-30 hours per week. A more specific number will be determined upon hiring, pending availability, skills and responsibilities. Timing is flexible.
• Paid biweekly at an annual rate of $16,500-$30,000, pending number of hours, skillset and responsibilities.
